Capt. Abdulla Al Khanji is a Qatari maritime executive with 15+ years of experience and proven track record in Ports Management and Marine Operations. He was appointed as CEO Qatar Ports Management Company (MWANI Qatar) in March 2014.
Prior to this, Al Khanji was the Director of Doha Port, where he oversaw the port management and all the port operations. Previously, he also held several managerial positions at the Customs and Ports General Authority, including marine services and port operations, control and communication, in addition to health, safety, security and environment.
Capt. AL Khanji is a member of New Port Project Steering and Tender Committees, and appointed since June 2014 a General Supervisor for the New Port Project, the mega Greenfield project of Qatar. HE is also a board member of Qatar Primary Materials Company, in addition to leading several Port Committees related to Ports HSSE.
Capt. Al Khanji has also served as marine pilot at Doha Port. He has graduated from the ASST-Egypt with a bachelor’s degree in Marine Sciences.
